Native Staten Islander, Rosemary Reardon (nee Calta), 65, passed at her home on
Friday October 20, 2017.
Born and raised in Dongan Hills, Mrs. Reardon moved to South Beach
when she married her husband, William Reardon 35 years ago.
After graduating New Dorp High School, Mrs. Reardon worked as a receptionist in
her family's beauty salon, located on Forest Avenue, for a few years.
She the dedicated her life to her family.
Mrs. Reardon enjoyed reading, knitting, and cooking Italian specialties.
She was a spiritual woman, whose faith in God and daily prayers got her through difficult times in her life. "rosemary was a kind and caring lady," said her family.
"She helped everyone and was a mentor for many friends and family,
giving her time and sage advice."
Mrs. Reardon was the beloved wife of William Reardon; loving mother of Anthony; dear grandmother of Marie and cherished sister of Thomas Calta, Caroline Trombetta, and the late Susan Calta. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews and friends.
