On Thursday, March 18th, 2021,
Dorothy "Dee" Syvertsen, loving wife and mother
of five, passed away at the age of 63.
Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and spoiling her 14 grandchildren,
Vincent, Laurel, Jayla, John, Anthony, Charlize, Sadie, Michael, Matthew,
Jacob, Jovani, Jacob, Elijah and Alicia.
Dee was preceded by her father Thomas Lindsey.
She is survived by her husband Charles,
her daughters Ella, Kelly, Jessie, Laurel and January,
her mother Dorothy and stepfather Jim, her siblings Donna, Debbie and Thomas.
Anyone who knew Dee, knew she only had five daughters, but was like a mother
to so many and would always give a helping hand in a time of need.
Dee was one of a kind and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 28th, 2021,
at Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Drop Lane, S.I., N.Y. 10306.
Viewings will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass is on Monday, March 29th, 2021,
at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Margaret Church, S.I.
Private Burial at Oceanview Cemetery.
